If you want your dashboard items to be split into separate boxes (with Rounded Corners for Firefox), simply copy the code below and paste it onto your Customize Profile box on Plurk (if you already have codes on the box, just add these after the last line):

#plurk-dashboard .dash-segment .segment-content a:link, #plurk-dashboard .dash-segment .segment-content a:visited{
color: #ffffff;
}

#plurk-dashboard .dash-segment .segment-content {
background: #000000;
color: #ffffff;
margin: 0 5px;
padding: 10px;
border: 2px solid #ffffff;
-moz-border-radius: 6px;
-khtml-border-radius: 6px;
-webkit-border-radius: 6px;
border-radius: 6px;
}
#plurk-dashboard {
background: transparent;
}

.dash-segment .segment-content #dash-stats h2 {
color: #ffffff;
margin: 5px;
padding: 0;
}
.dash-segment .segment-content #dash-friends h2 {
color: #ffffff;
margin: 5px;
padding: 0;
}
.dash-segment .segment-content #dash-fans h2 {
color: #ffffff;
margin: 5px;
padding: 0;
}

Plurk is a community, we all know that. For many Plurkers, it is not uncommon to see a Plurk wishing everyone a great day, a great evening, a wonderful week, etc..  And what we noticed was that many Plurkers actually use what we here at Plurkk! call as “Place Qualifiers”. These Place Qualifiers are similar to those verb qualifiers we see on Plurk. Whenever a plurker posts a greeting, there almost always is a place qualifier: Examples include: “Good night world!” and “Good night Plurkistan!”

“Plurkistan” is a word used by manuy Plurkers to refer to the whole Plurk community. Then there are others who exercise their creativity and use any country (or place for that matter) and replace the first syllable with the word “Plurk”.

We got curious so we posted this Plurk:

plurk

So what did the Plurkers have to say? Here they are:

  • United Plurkdom (United kingdom)
  • Plurkjikistan (Tajikistan)
  • Plurkmenistan (Turkmenistan)
  • Plurktugal (Portugal)
  • Plurkbekistan (Uzbekistan)
  • Plurkghanistan (Afghanistan)
  • Plurknada (Canada)
  • Plurktralia (Australia)
  • Plurkland (Finland)
  • Plurkgentina (Argentina)
  • Plurknezuela (Venezuela)
  • Plurkminican Republic (Dominican Replublic)
  • Plurkstantinople (Constantinople, old times eh?)
  • Pluksopotamia (Mesopotamia, old times some more?)
  • Plurkoslovakia (Czechoslovakia)
  • Plurkto Rico (Puerto Rico)
  • Plurkany (Germany)
  • Plurkinidad and Plurkbago (Trinidad and Tobago)
  • Plurktenstein (Liechtenstein)
  • Plurkantadia (What the?)
  • Plurktigua and Barbuda (Antigua and Barbuda)
  • Plurkia and Herzegovina (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
  • United States of Plurkmerica (United States of America)
  • Plurktarctica (Antarctica)
  • and of course: PLURKILIPPINES! (The Philippines! Thanks for the great catch @ Will)
