Plurk has brought back the Instant Messenger (IM) feature!

You can now update your plurk page via your Instant Messenger service! Currently though, only IM accounts using the Google/Jabber platform are working (unlike what is displyed on the IM Page). Also, there may still be some issues with Google Apps-powered GTalk chat accounts.

Here are the steps to activating your Plurk via IM:
1. On your Plurk Page, click on MY Account (or visit this link: www.plurk.com/IM/showIM).

2. The window below will pop-up

3. Fill-in the IM field with your IM id (for Google Talk users, type in full email address).

Many of us have friends who have a lot of friends and fans that every single update they post on Plurk results in a lot of responses from other people. While it is nice to see them constantly updating on your timeline, there are others out there who just don’t have teh patience to wait for that Plurk post to load all the comments. Others also feel like teh screen is too small and is too cramped that no matter how interesting that Plurk is, they are forced to mute it.

Well worry no more for Plurkify comes to our rescue! Plurkify has developed what is called Plurkify rooms which transforms your Plurks into a chatroom of sorts.
